Outdoor Fitness Activities: The Ministry of Health (MINSA) approved a directive allowing physical activity and recreation in public spaces to resume in three stages. As part of the first stage, starting today, Wednesday, June 3, individuals are allowed to walk, jog, and/or engage in fitness activities including calisthenics, pilates, tai chi, and yoga outside, as long as they: 1) exercise alone, 2) wear a facemask at all times, 3) stay within a three-kilometer (1.86 mile) radius of their residence, and 4) exercise for no more than 60 minutes each day. Outdoor fitness activities may take place from 5:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday, with no activities permitted on Sunday. This directive may not apply to districts with large number of COVID-19 infections according to the MINSA epidemiological alert such as: San Juan de Lurigancho, Lima Cercado, San Martín de Porres, Ate, El Agustino, Comas, La Victoria, San Juan de Miraflores , Santa Anita, Rímac, Puente Piedra, Los Olivos, Chorrillos, Independencia, Carabayllo, San Miguel, Breña, and Surquillo.
