Going Outside With Children: Children under 14 are generally allowed to take a short 30-minute walk outside within 500 meters of their residence with an accompanying adult each day. However, the Peruvian government advises against outside activity for children in areas with a high number of COVID-19 cases and/or a high transmission rate. If you do venture out with your child, remember to stay within 500 meters of your residence, make sure that you and your child wear a facemask, and maintain social distancing (at least two meters or six feet) between you and others.
Sunday Restrictions: Per the Peruvian Government’s extended quarantine measures through 11:59 p.m., June 30, movement on Sundays is restricted nationwide, with no one allowed to leave their residences for non-emergency business such as grocery shopping or visiting a pharmacy. We encourage everyone to follow the instructions of Peruvian authorities.
