Location: Peru (countrywide)

Event: Commercial carrier Eastern Airlines is offering a charter flight from Lima, Peru, to Miami, Florida on Thursday, April 16 and Saturday, April 18.  There is a possibility additional flights could be scheduled for April 20 and April 21.  To purchase tickets directly from Eastern Airlines, visit its website at https://goeasternair.com.   You may also reach Eastern by calling +1 (855) 216-7601 or by WhatsApp +52-1-800-953-1800 for logistic details.   The rally point for the April 16 and April 18 flights is at the U.S. Embassy (Av La Encalada 1615, Santiago de Surco 15023, Lima, Peru) at 8:00 AM.   Eastern will provide passengers with a transit letter to get to the rally point.  Due to security restrictions, passengers cannot go directly to the Peruvian Air Force Base (Grupo 8).

The U.S. Embassy continues to coordinate with private companies for viable flight options for U.S. citizens who wish to return to the United States.   Private tour operator Solange Reps notified the U.S. Embassy of an online form for travelers to express interest in a possible charter flight from Lima to Miami on Sunday, April 19.  This is not a U.S. Embassy flight.  To register your interest, please click on this link:  https://forms.gle/Ldgy3FxBDEsPPZXZ8.  Solange Reps will contact interested travelers with more information, including the rally point.  You may reach Solange Reps by phone at +1 (786) 387-0000 or +51-952-396-417.  Note the rally point for this flight will NOT be at the U.S. Embassy.

While the U.S. Embassy is communicating with various companies providing outbound flights from Peru, the flights are organized by private companies, and not considered U.S. Embassy-sponsored flights.  So far, the U.S. Embassy has coordinated more than 45 government and private charter flights and repatriated more than 7,153 people to the United States.

We understand that charter flight prices are higher than the pre-COVID-19 market price.  All repatriation flights (U.S. government or private) incur significant costs at this time.  If you cannot afford a ticket, you are eligible to apply for a U.S. Embassy emergency repatriation loan that you will need to repay after returning to the United States.  To apply, please complete the Repatriation Assistance Loan Application, then scan and email it to PeruRepatriations@state.gov.

The U.S. government has appreciated your feedback as we continue to work hard to bring #AmericansHome.
