Event: Today, 224 people departed Peru to the United States on Eastern Airlines flight 340, bringing the total number of repatriations to 8319. The Embassy brought a number of U.S. citizens in Cusco and Iquitos to Lima on a U.S. government aircraft for today’s flight.
Eastern Airlines: Eastern Airlines has opened ticket sales for another charter flight for Monday, May 4. Flights are open to U.S. citizens and Lawful Permanent Residents (LPRs). Solange Reps: Private tour operator Solange Reps will operate a flight from Lima to Miami on Thursday, April 30, and another on Friday, May 8. These flights are confirmed by the Peruvian government. These are not U.S. Embassy flights. For the April 30 flight, travelers should meet at the JW Marriott Hotel at Larcomar in Miraflores by 7:00 AM for flight check-in. Warrior Angels Rescue: The non-profit organization Warrior Angels Rescue is coordinating a flight for tomorrow, Thursday, April 30. At the time of this message, this flight is not yet confirmed. For more information, contact Warrior Angels Rescue directly by emailing email@example.com. This is not a U.S. Embassy flight. Warrior Angels Rescue will notify passengers of the meeting location in Lima and transportation instructions for this flight.
The Jorge Chávez International Airport in Callao remains closed. Flights only depart from the Peruvian Air Force Base in Callao, which has restricted access based on Peruvian security regulations. We encourage all U.S. citizens in Peru to comply with the Peruvian government’s quarantine measures and to follow the instructions of Peruvian authorities.
