Event: Today, approximately 220 Americans departed Peru on Eastern Airlines flight 340 to Miami, bringing the total number of repatriations to more than 9300. More than 30 Americans were brought to Lima from Iquitos for today’s repatriation flight. Tickets are available for another Eastern Airlines flight on Wednesday, May 20, from Lima to Miami (MIA). AC Tours: The flight organized by private tour operator AC Tours from Lima to New York (JFK) on Saturday, May 16, is confirmed. We encourage all U.S. citizens in Peru to comply with the Peruvian government’s quarantine measures and to follow the instructions of Peruvian authorities. Limit your time outside, carry your identification and phone, and remember that the use of a facemask is required in public. In addition, some grocery stores, banks, and other businesses may require gloves as well as facemasks. The current state of emergency restrictions are in effect through 11:59 p.m. May 24.
