Location: Peru (countrywide)
Event: To date, the U.S. Embassy repatriated 2300 Americans. Today, three more flights are scheduled as part of our continuing efforts to bring U.S. Citizens home.
Yesterday, we introduced a Repatriation Flight Registration Form (https://bit.ly/3bx5ons) to quickly and efficiently compile traveler information. We received more than 2800 responses, which are helping our team identify and repatriate Americans more quickly and efficiently. If you have not already done so, we strongly encourage you to complete this form so that we can provide the assistance you need.
Through constant high-level coordination with the Government of Peru, we have secured the rapid deployment of charter repatriation flights. As more flights are scheduled, we will make every effort to inform you as quickly as possible, to ensure that you and your family have enough time to respond accordingly.
If you have received confirmation that you are on a flight, please show up at the designated rally point, not at the airport. Military airport access restrictions hinder our ability to assist those who go directly to the airfield.
We are working hard to bring #AmericansHome.
