Location: Peru (countrywide)
Event: Today, more than 350 Americans departed Peru, bringing the total number of repatriations to nearly 3300 Americans. We have successfully repatriated individuals from Iquitos, Arequipa, and throughout the Ica region. Efforts are underway to bring travelers to Lima from Trujillo and Puerto Maldonado tomorrow. Continue to monitor your emails and our website for additional information and flight confirmations.
Beginning tomorrow, March 31, Peru will extend curfew hours, with curfew starting at 6 pm in most of the country and at 4 pm in the Tumbes, Piura, Lambayeque, and Loreto regions. The U.S. Embassy recommends U.S. citizens in Peru adhere to all quarantine measures due to the outbreak of COVID-19. Please note that the extended curfew might impact travel.
We are working hard to bring #AmericansHome.
