COVID-19 Scams: The Department of Homeland Security’s Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) warns you to watch out for scams related to COVID-19. Criminals may send emails with attachments or hyperlinks to trick victims into revealing sensitive information or donating to fraudulent charities or causes. Do not open attachments or click on links unless they are from an official source. Look out for emails with a COVID-19-related subject line, attachment, or hyperlink, and be wary of social media solicitations, texts, or calls related to COVID-19.
