Location: Peru (countrywide)
Event: Today, almost 400 Americans departed Peru, bringing the total number of repatriations to approximately 3700 Americans. We have successfully repatriated individuals from Iquitos, Arequipa, Pucallpa, Puerto Maldonado and the Ica region. Tomorrow, two groups of buses are transporting U.S. Citizens from Trujillo and Huaraz to Lima for a repatriation flight later that day. We continue our efforts to repatriate Americans from all corners of Peru. In the coming days, we will be making arrangements to bring U.S. Citizens to Lima from Piura, Chiclayo, Cajamarca, Chimbote and Tacna. Please, continue to monitor your emails and our website for additional information and flight confirmations.
The U.S. Embassy is committed to repatriating all U.S. Citizens who express a desire to return to the United States. To ensure that we are aware of your interest in repatriation, if you have not already done so, please register at https://bit.ly/3bx5ons. Do not register multiple times.
Given the current COVID-19 emergency measures, be prepared to commit to a repatriation flight out of Peru on short notice. Please continue to monitor your emails and our website for additional information and flight confirmations.
We are working hard to bring #AmericansHome.
