Event: Today, approximately 150 (est.) U.S. citizens are scheduled to depart Peru on a Solange Reps Travel Agency charter flight Lima to Miami (MIA), bringing the total number of repatriations from Peru to more than 10,430. The U.S. Embassy is working diligently to confirm additional repatriation flight options. As of today, we have not received flight permissions for next week. We will share new and pertinent information as soon as it becomes available.
Eastern Airlines: A limited number of seats may still be available for the Eastern Airlines flight from Lima to Miami (MIA) on Wednesday, June 10. Eastern Airlines is hoping to offer an additional flight from Lima to Miami (MIA) on Wednesday, June 24. Eastern flights are open to U.S. citizens and Lawful Permanent Residents (LPRs). Transit Letters for Ticket Holders: The U.S. Embassy provides transit letters to the organizing airline or travel agency for use by ticket holders in the Lima area. Ticketed passengers in Lima should contact the airline or travel provider to receive a transit letter. Travelers coming from outside Lima should complete our Transit Letter Request Form (https://tinyurl.com/ya77klfg) after purchasing a ticket on a repatriation flight. Please submit your request at least 24 hours prior to traveling to Lima. For additional information, email PeruRepatriations@state.gov.
