Location: Peru (countrywide)
Event:Today, roughly 580 Americans departed Peru, bringing the total number of repatriations to approximately 6,630. There is a flight scheduled out of Lima for tomorrow, April 9th.
There is a flight scheduled to depart Iquitos on Saturday, April 11, pending Peruvian Government approval. We have been in contact with the nonprofit organization, Warriors Angel Rescue, and are aware of this group’s interest in assisting U.S. citizens with transportation to the Iquitos airport.
All confirmed passengers will receive a flight confirmation email with a transit letter. Travelers should print and use this letter while traveling to the designated flight meeting point. If you cannot print the transit letter, have it available on your phone or another electronic device. It is your responsibility to get to the meeting location we provide you on time. Be prepared to travel on short notice.
We encourage everyone to comply with the Peruvian Government’s quarantine measures and to follow the instructions of Peruvian authorities. Limit your time outside and carry your identification and phone. Wear a facemask while out in public.
We are working hard to bring #AmericansHome.
