Location: Peru (countrywide)
Event: Tomorrow there is a U.S. government repatriation flight from Lima to Iquitos to Miami. For the convenience of passengers confirmed on tomorrow’s flight from Lima, the U.S. Embassy will provide shuttle buses departing at 6:00 AM from the following hotels:
- Hilton (Av. La Paz 1099, Miraflores )
- Doubletree (Jr. Independencia 141, Miraflores)
- Swissotel (Av. Santo Toribio 173, Vía Central 150, Centro Empresarial Real, San Isidro)
The shuttles will take passengers to the U.S. Embassy, then on to the U.S. government-leased hangar at the Peruvian Air Force Base in Callao for the repatriation flight. Remember that updated curfew hours are in effect tomorrow, from 6 pm to 4 am, for Lima and most of Peru.
All confirmed passengers receive a flight confirmation email with a transit letter. Travelers should print and use this letter while traveling to the designated flight meeting point. If you cannot print the transit letter, have it available on your phone or another electronic device. It is your responsibility to get to the meeting location we provide you on time. Be prepared to travel on short notice.
For everyone who has registered for repatriation, but not been contacted yet for a flight, you are not forgotten. We hope additional flight options will be available beginning next week.
We encourage everyone to comply with the Peruvian Government’s quarantine measures and to follow the instructions of Peruvian authorities. Limit your time outside and carry your identification and phone. Government of Peru norms require a facemask while out in public.
We are working hard to bring #AmericansHome.
