We continue to announce viable scheduled flights through travel partners in email alerts. DO NOT WAIT TO BE CONTACTED BY THE U.S. EMBASSY. The Jorge Chávez International Airport remains closed for the near future. If you remain in Peru, please follow Peruvian government quarantine restrictions, which remain in place through June 30, 2020.

Eastern Airlines: Tickets are on sale for an Eastern Airlines flight from Lima to Miami (MIA) on Wednesday, July 8. This flight is open to U.S. citizens and Lawful Permanent Residents (LPRs). COVID-19 Travel Restrictions: At this time, there are no specific limitations on U.S citizens, Lawful Permanent Residents, and their immediate families traveling to the United States from Peru. Restrictions are in place for foreign nationals returning from Brazil, China, Iran, and many European countries that have been highly impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Due to precautions and limited resources related to the COVID-19 pandemic, routine processing of passports and visas remains suspended. On June 22, President Trump signed a Proclamation that suspends the entry of certain additional foreign nationals to the United States through December 31, 2020. Exceptions exist for spouses, children, and prospective adoptive children of U.S. citizens.
