U.S. Embassy in Peru

The Embassy of the United States in Peru invites young Peruvian entrepreneurs to participate in the Young Leaders of the Americas (YLAI) 2024 Program.

This program will have a virtual component before traveling to the United States. Once finished, there will be a four-week trip to various cities in the United States, where participants will work hand in hand with leading organizations/companies in their sector and learn different professional skills and abilities. Travel expenses will be fully covered by the United States Government.

Requirements:

• Be between 25 to 35 from/until January 01, 2024.

• Be a Peruvian citizen and resident.

• Be eligible to receive a US J-1 visa.

• Demonstrate record of growth of your business or social enterprise for at least two years. The business/entrepreneurship must be based in Peru.

• Not be a citizen or permanent resident of the United States.

• Master the English language (written and spoken).

• Be available to travel to the United States in March and April 2024.
