The United States Citizenship and Immigration Service (USCIS) office at the Embassy in Lima is currently open to the public Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and is closed on Peruvian and American holidays. Although you do not presently need an appointment to visit USCIS Lima, beginning September 30, 2016, USCIS will be available to the public in person by appointment only. Dates for appointments are available now. Just go to https://InfoPass.uscis.gov and follow the instructions.
USCIS Lima Field Office is transitioning to the InfoPass appointment system for members of the public who wish to visit our office. InfoPass is a free internet-based scheduling system available online that allows you to make appointments at your local USCIS office. If you have an immigration issue that is best handled in person, InfoPass will let you schedule your appointment on the internet. Access to USCIS Lima will be denied for those visiting without appointments after September 29.
If you have a general inquiry there is no need to visit USCIS in person, as you may instead email your question in Spanish or English to Peru.USCIS@uscis.dhs.gov.
