Demonstration Alert: Lima Protests Tomorrow

- Campo de Marte, Paseo de los Heroes, and Plaza San Martin, Downtown Lima
- Parque Kennedy and Ovalo Gutierrez, Miraflores, Lima
- Plaza Huaycan and Urbanizacion Salamanca, Ate
Event:
Political protests are scheduled to take place in Lima tomorrow, June 4, beginning at 3:00 p.m. Protesters are expected to gather in the following areas:
- Campo de Marte, moving towards Paseo de los Heroes and Plaza San Martin, downtown.
- Parque Kennedy and Ovalo Gutierrez, Miraflores
- Plaza Huaycan and Urbanizacion Salamanca, Ate
Counter-protesters are also expected at Plaza San Martin starting at 3:00 p.m. and may be present at other locations as well. Heavy police presence, road closures, and congested traffic are expected. Avoid these areas as protests can quickly turn violent.
