Event: Protests in Lima (April 7, 2022)
Protesters are scheduled to begin gathering today, April 7, at 10:00 a.m. throughout the Lima metropolitan area. At 1:00 p.m., protesters are scheduled to begin marching towards downtown Lima’s Plaza Dos de Mayo and Plaza San Martin. Heavy police presence, road closures, and heavy traffic are anticipated in these areas. Avoid these areas as protests and demonstrations can be unpredictable and quickly turn violent.
