Peruvian-American Binational Centers

American Spaces

Since 1938, the Peruvian-American Institutes and Cultural Centers (also known as Bi-National Centers) have sought to strengthen the bi-lateral relations between Peru and the United States. The U.S. Embassy in Peru partners with these centers to promote cultural and educational opportunities through English language learning and cultural activities. Currently there are 32 such centers throughout Peru offering cultural programs, educational projects, library services and college advising for U.S. higher education institutions. Some U.S. Embassy sponsored programs include: English Plus, Access Program, College Horizon Outreach Program, Project Citizen, and EducationUSA among others.
