- “Zoom in on America“, a monthly online publication for teenage learners of English.
While “Zoom” is not a coursebook, it can be used by teachers and students alike as a set of extra materials focused on various aspects of American life, nature, society, history, etc. The first three pages carry the main content of each issue and the fourth is the “Activity Page” with comprehension questions, exercises, explanation of more difficult vocabulary, and/or subjects for further discussion. Clickable audio files with articles read by native speakers are a novelty of recent Zoom issues.
Make teachers and learners of English aware of “Zoom in on America”. Everyone is welcome to subscribe – totally free. Write “subscribe” in the title of you message and send it to firstname.lastname@example.org
Zoom will be sent to your e-mail box as an attachment the day it is put on the web, i.e. the tenth of every month (with the exception of summer holidays, when there is one summer issue in July.)
An English teacher in northern Chile recently started a website for EFL teachers at the elementary level to help them find and share resources.
