Location: Peru (countrywide)
Event: To date more than 3300 Americans have returned home from Peru. Two flights will be departing today, one from Lima and one from Cusco. In addition, we have successfully brought U.S. Citizens from Iquitos, Arequipa, Pucallpa, and throughout the Ica region. Efforts are underway to bring travelers to Lima from Trujillo and Huaraz and other parts of Peru. The U.S. Embassy provides manifested passengers with a travel letter to show at checkpoints for ease of transit.
Please continue to monitor your emails and our website for additional information and flight confirmations. If you haven’t already done so, fill out our information form at https://bit.ly/3bx5ons. Wherever you are in Peru, we have not forgotten you.
Effective March 31, Peru extended curfew hours, with curfew starting at 6 pm in most of the country and at 4pm in the Tumbes, Piura, Lambayeque, La Libertad and Loreto regions. The U.S. Embassy recommends U.S. citizens in Peru adhere to all quarantine measures due to the outbreak of COVID-19.
We are working hard to bring #AmericansHome.
