Event: Peruvian Ministry of Health warns of increased cases of Zika, dengue, and chikungunya (March 25, 2021)
On Friday, March 19, the Peruvian Ministry of Health’s Center for Epidemiology, Prevention and Disease Control issued a public health alert for all of Peru reporting an increase of certain mosquito-borne diseases, including dengue, chikungunya and Zika. This alert directed Peruvian health care providers to strengthen reporting, public awareness, and prevention measures.
