Michael Sayman, son of Latino immigrants who achieved the American dream, visits Peru

The Embassy of the United States in Peru is pleased to announce the visit of Michael Sayman, app entrepreneur, software expert, political activist and author, who at just 17 years old was hired by Mark Zuckerberg to work at Facebook. Sayman, who is descendant of Peruvian and Bolivian heritage, was included in the list of “30 Under 30” (the 30 most successful young people under 30 years) of Forbes Magazine.

Sayman, author of the book “App Kid,” will offer a cycle of talks, “Technology for Everyone,” in which he will share his passion for technology, advice for entrepreneurs and share opportunities offered by the technological world, without discrimination based on gender or origins. This passion allowed Sayman to move forward and achieve the American dream despite the barriers that life presented him.

The young entrepreneur will introduce himself:

  • June 7:     Centro Cultural Peruano Norteamericano of Arequipa.
  • June 8-9:  Instituto Cultural Peruano-Norteamericano (ICPNA) Cusco
  • June 10:   Instituto Cultural Peruano-Norteamericano (ICPNA) Miraflores, in Lima.
