Nonimmigrant visa process change – June 1, 2019

Effective June 1, nonimmigrant visa applicants must bring the following required documents for a visa interview: valid passport, DS-160 confirmation page, and a photo.  If a visa class requires specific forms (students, temporary workers, and certain cultural exchange participants), applicants must also bring the appropriate forms (I-20, DS-2019, or I-129S form).  Applicants present without the required documents must reschedule an appointment online.  Additionally, all questions on the nonimmigrant visa application must be completed in English.  Failure to respond in English may result in delays and even administrative refusals.  For additional information, please see the following pages:
