Ambassador Nichols and Vice Minister of Culture Ana Castillo presented the results of the winning project for the 2014 Ambassadors Fund for Cultural Preservation (AFCP) at the Museo de Sitio Arturo Jiménez Borja in Puruchuco. The AFCP funding supported the registration, conservation, and appropriate storage of ceramics, textiles, metals, and funerary bundles.
Ambassador Javier León Olavarría, General Director for Cultural Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Museum’s Director Clide Maria Valladolid Huaman along with representatives from the Ministry of Culture, conservators, archaeologists, and members of the community.
