Thirteen Peruvians are part of the Young Leaders of the Americas Initiative (YLAI)

Thirteen young Peruvian leaders will travel to the United States to take part of the Young Leaders of the Americas Initiative (YLAI) created by President Barack Obama in 2015. The entrepreneurs and business –people that will be part of the first generation of YLAI are Alexandra Cáceres, Carlos Casiano, Álvaro Concha, Luz Delgado, Rosario Díaz, Cristian Gutiérrez, Francisco Levi, Isaac Malca, Cyntia Paytan, Gabriela Saldaña, Brian Savitzky, Jenifer Valdez and Sandra Valle.

These distinguished professionals are part of the delegation of 35 Latin American countries that, starting in October, will participate at the YLAI – a five week program that will reinforce their leadership, innovation and entrepreneurship skills and will provide them with the opportunity to network with U.S. innovators and investors, with Afro-American communities and with the participants themselves in order to improve connectivity throughout the Hemisphere.

The Millennial’s Movement, Compadre, Sonqo & Maqui, Mothers in Action and Hack Space Peru are some of the social initiatives and entrepreneurships that Peru will present at the first edition of the YLAI.
