Update on Taxi Green Airport Service (August 25, 2015)

This is an update to the Security Message dated August 6, 2015, which alerted U.S. citizens residing or traveling in Peru that the Municipality of Callao had suspended TAXI GREEN service at Jorge Chavez International Airport in Lima through August 17, 2015.

TAXI GREEN’s temporary suspension from service ended on August 17. The company is again authorized to resume service from the Lima airport and in the Municipality of Callao. U.S. Embassy personnel have been advised to refrain from using TAXI GREEN until further notice, pending a review of the company’s continued compliance with enhanced safety and security standards.
